// The Problem First program

Most tech projects fail before they start. Ours start with the problem.

Problem First is our four-stage method for fixing what's really costing your business. Every stage ends with a clear deliverable and a go / no-go decision, so you only invest further when the numbers stack up.

01 // The four stages

Define → Diagnose → Design → Deliver

01 1–2 weeks

Define

Pin down the real problem, who it affects and, where the data allows, what it’s costing today. Agree what “fixed” looks like.

You get

Problem statement, current-state baseline and success measures.

AI › Rapid analysis of your existing data, tickets and reports to understand the problem fast.
02 2–3 weeks

Diagnose

Map the current process on the floor with your people. Find root causes, not symptoms, and rank the opportunities.

You get

Process map, root-cause findings and a ranked opportunity list.

AI › Pattern-finding across operational data to surface hidden bottlenecks.
03 2–4 weeks

Design

Design the simplest solution that works (process change, system fix, AI, or a mix) and test it on real work.

You get

Solution design, working prototype and a costed business case.

AI › Prototype AI agents and automations on live examples before you commit.
04 Ongoing

Deliver

Implement, train and embed the change, then track results against the baseline until they stick.

You get

Live solution, trained team and results reporting against baseline.

AI › Deploy, monitor and tune AI tools, with humans kept in the loop.

02 // Why it works

Technology first buys tools. Problem First buys results.

The old way

Technology first

  • Buy a platform, then hunt for uses
  • Success measured by “go-live”
  • Staff work around the new system
  • Costs known, benefits hoped for

Result: expensive tools, unchanged problems.

The JNT way

Problem First

  • Define the problem before choosing a tool
  • Success measured in dollars, hours and service levels
  • Process redesigned with the people who run it
  • Business case signed off before you spend

Result: measurable savings you can bank.

03 // Common questions

Straight answers.

Do we have to use AI?

No. If a process change or a fix to an existing system solves the problem more cheaply, that is what we recommend. AI goes in only where it clearly earns its keep.

Can we stop after one stage?

Yes. Each stage stands on its own and ends with a decision point. Many clients start with Define alone to get clear on the problem.

How is it priced?

Every engagement is scoped to your problem. Please contact JNT Business Solutions for pricing details.

Who will we work with?

The directors, directly. No hand-offs to junior staff.
